Dot Transportation, Inc. Selects Fatigue Science for Predictive Fatigue Management Pilot

VANCOUVER, BC – September 15, 2026 Fatigue Science, the leader in predictive fatigue risk management for fleet and transportation, today announced that Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) has selected Fatigue Science and its Readi™ fatigue management platform for a pilot program focused on identifying and managing driver fatigue risk before incidents occur. Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) is the exclusive transportation affiliate for Dot Foods, North America's largest less than truckload consolidator in the food industry.

The pilot will introduce Readi’s predictive fatigue technology into Dot Transportation’s existing safety program, giving safety teams and driver supervisors greater visibility into when individual drivers may be at elevated fatigue risk before and during an upcoming shift.

Readi provides hour-by-hour personalized driver fatigue predictions ahead of shift, allowing fleets to identify elevated risk before a driver reaches a critical point on the road. The platform enables supervisors to take practical actions, such as strategically timed rest breaks or driver check-ins, while minimizing disruption to daily operations.

“Fatigue is an important priority in our overall driver safety program,” said Clint McDonald, Director of Safety at DTI. “We already have several programs and technologies in place to support our drivers, and this pilot gives us an opportunity to better understand how predictive fatigue data could complement those efforts to improve safety.”

DTI currently uses Samsara and other safety processes to monitor driver behavior and identify events that may require review. The Fatigue Science pilot will explore how fatigue risk data can add an predictive layer of insight by identifying when a driver may be approaching elevated fatigue risk before an in-cab or telematics event occurs.

Readi can operate without requiring drivers to wear a device. Through integrations with fleet systems such as Samsara, Readi can use driver work and rest information alongside Fatigue Science’s AI technology to generate personalized fatigue predictions.

As part of the pilot, Fatigue Science and Dot Transportation will evaluate fatigue risk patterns, operational workflows and opportunities to incorporate predictive fatigue data into the organization’s broader driver safety strategy.

The initiative builds on Fatigue Science’s growing work with North American transportation fleets using predictive fatigue management to complement cameras, telematics and existing driver safety technologies.
